Homemade Vanilice with Budimka Apricot and Apple Marmalade

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 400 g flour
  • Budimka apricot and apple marmalade (for sandwiching)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation

  1. Whisk the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
  2. Add the egg and continue to whisk.
  3. Gradually stir in the flour and knead the dough. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut out small circles using a mold or a glass.
  5. Bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes, until lightly golden.
  6. Cool the cookies and sandwich them together with Budimka apricot and apple marmalade.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
